Aliyah Connelly

This is my acrylic painting of flowers and a butterfly. I used a dabbing technique with the brush to try and put texture into the center of the flower. I believe this painting has almost perfect balance other then it being a little empty underneath the butterfly. I tried to put emphasis on the butterfly by making it orange. Orange wasn't a complimentary color but I thought it would pop. One thing I would change is I would make the flowers closer up.
